Christina Paul, Certified Executive Coach (AC), MRTPI

Hi hi! I’m Christina Paul, a Certified Executive Coach, strategic planner, and mum of three wonderful kids (ranging from a teenager to a preschooler). For the past 15 years, I’ve been a strategic consultant to cities, universities, and organisations, helping them envision and implement bold 5-20 year plans for the future, while also raising my family full of lovely little people.

“Balancing” a demanding career with family life taught me first-hand how to turn big-picture visions into practical, meaningful action steps in everyday life. (“Balancing”, verb: working and re-working  how I’m meant to get it all done and not go crazy or drive anyone else crazy, while ensuring I do good, deep work that is of service to the greater good, and also being an engaged, loving and present mother. Mistakes have been made and variations have been tried.)

At a certain point (6 years ago), I looked up and thought, “Wait. Families need strategies and internal alignment around goals, too. Our families are our most fundamental teams. If I can plan cities, I can help families, as well.” I also realised that, like me, a lot of well-educated people grew up without being taught how to manage their personal finances, and need someone to coach them directly. Then there’s the issue of using your time to reach your goals. And so, here I am. Supporting families of all sizes as they work towards their goals, and use money and time as tools to do so.

My passion is helping you and your family (or just you, if you are solo) craft a life that fills you with purpose and joy. I draw on my experience in organisational development, having studied leadership with Peter Senge at MIT Sloan and earned a coaching certification from Cambridge University, to empower you with both insight and concrete strategies. I’ve been where you are, and I have the tools to help you move forward confidently.

My Approach

• Holistic Visioning: We start by clarifying your big-picture goals for your career, family, and life. This often includes defining your areas of focus across work, finances, relationships, and well-being.
• Strategic Planning: Next, we break down your vision into actionable steps, leveraging techniques from my strategic planning background. We create a clear roadmap with milestones to guide your progress.
• Financial Mastery: Together, we’ll turn money from a source of stress into tools for your success. I coach you 1:1 and in as much detail as is helpful on how to understand your finances, how to make financial decisions, and how to align your finances and schedule with your family’s values and goals, so you feel in control and on track. Financial management is all about giving you options.
• It’s About Time: There are only so many hours in the day, and if you don’t plan for how to use them to reach your goals, someone else is likely to confiscate them. Let’s get your time working for you and your goals.
• Accountability & Support: Change doesn’t happen overnight (despite our social narratives about decision-making), which is why I’ll be there to celebrate your wins, troubleshoot challenges, remake the track and get you back on it, and keep you accountable. My coaching style is energetic and empathetic, combining encouragement with the insight to ask the tough questions that spark growth.
